REASONS FOR TRAVELING TO GABON
In 1998 U.S. scientist Michael Fay completed one of the greatest adventures of our times named THE MEGATRANSECT: He traversed 3200 KM of the rain forested region of the Congo Basin by foot with the help of local trackers. This scientific effort culminated in the creation of 13 National Parks and 4 marine Parks covering 12% of Gabon’s territory.
