REASONS FOR TRAVELING TO GABON
In 1998 U.S. scientist Michael Fay completed one of the greatest adventures of our times named THE MEGATRANSECT: He traversed 3200 KM of the rain forested region of the Congo Basin by foot with the help of local trackers. This scientific effort culminated in the creation of 13 National Parks and 4 marine Parks covering 12% of Gabon’s territory.
Explore and Travel while contributing to nature conservation and the sustainable development of local communities.

Mark Grossmann i Camps2025-09-13 Gabon truly offers an untouched garden plenty of fauna & flora. I imagine it must be very complicated to organize transfers in 4x4, van, boat, canoe... as well as meals and overnight stays. All of this and much more is perfectly coordinated by the @gabonuntouched team. A fantastic experience and very beautiful memories of our stay in Gabon in September 2025. Will do it again. Many, many thanks to Antonio, Rodrigue, Freddie, Ivan who went the axtra-mile to make our trip unforgettable: gorillas, elephants, pygmies, dances, masks, plants, birds, and more then anything an immersion in an extraordinary world far away from any other place. silvia ramirez2024-07-02 Gabon Untouched is a top-notch agency in Gabon. Their team is highly competent, skilled, talented, and versatile. I had the opportunity to travel to Gabon with Gabon Untouched in December 2019, just before the COVID pandemic began. The tour was initially planned as a private experience. However, Antonio thoughtfully asked our permission to include two Italian gentlemen. We were happy to accommodate them. Gabon is an incredible country, but it also presents logistical challenges. Three days before our departure, a close relative of one of the Italian companions passed away. We were deep in the south of the country, far from Libreville. Despite this difficult situation, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure our travel companion's timely departure. Thanks to Gabon Untouched, we had a truly remarkable and unforgettable experience. Silvia Juan Ribot2024-06-12 Increíble experiencia. Un viaje realmente único, seguro y productivo. Director H10 Timanfaya Palace2024-06-06 **May all who go to Gabon with Antonio as guests, leave as friends** I am a traveller who usually organises everything on my own. For May/24 we decided on Gabon, especially because it is still very unspoilt, it retains its essence and reality, and is not a set-up for tourists. It is a very safe country, but it is essential to be accompanied. Just to avoid the stress of police roadblocks every 15 kms, yes, 15k, is worth it. After a thorough investigation, I was lucky that Antonio and Gabon Untouched agreed to organise the whole tour and logistics in the country for me. They were always there for us (my wife, my 2 children and me). The tour we did was spectacular. We have seen crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, gorillas.... In addition, a fact that I love, Antonio is totally integrated with the Gabonese people. In Dissala they love him so much that he is one of them. He has even set up a kindergarten for the community. Without any doubt, I recommend 120% that if you want to go to Gabon, contact Antonio and Gabon Untouched. You can also contact me if you have any questions. J Ouwerkerk2024-04-16 What an adventure Gabon truly offers—an untouched paradise. A few years back, my wife and I visited Costa Rica, where we were captivated by its beauty and serenity. The nature and people there were wonderful, and every park was meticulously maintained. Inspired, we decided to explore Gabon next, renowned as "the last Eden on Earth." The difference, however, is stark. Gabon is wild, uncontrolled, and utterly free. Unlike Costa Rica, where everything is under meticulous management, Gabon presents a raw, untouched landscape. The challenges are real, from mosquitoes to traffic police and visible poverty, yet this adds to its untouched allure. Nature here is untamed, with elephants, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, snakes, and gorillas roaming freely around you. Gabon's nascent tourism industry makes you feel as though you're a pioneer in experiencing such adventures. From Mount Crystal to Mama Aline's village and encountering gorillas and visiting Loango National Park, this journey is not one to be tackled alone. Navigating Gabon requires an experienced guide, and there’s no one better than Antonio from Gabon Untouched. He knows all the tricks, understands the rules, and has the necessary connections to ensure a successful expedition. If you're seeking a genuine adventure, to see nature as it existed a thousand years ago, untouched by human influence, I highly recommend contacting Antonio for a tour. It's an unforgettable experience.
